A Glass or a Lake, What would I like to be?

A glass has a specific shape, sometimes etched with gold or silver. A glass can hold a variety of different liquids like milk, juice, wine, water or perhaps even jelly. A glass is limited to its height and width. In many ways a lake has some restrictions. I believe I long to be a lake, where I am open to receive the rain from heavens, the giggles from summertime fun, the worms being cast in hope of a catch. I could contain many species of fish, cradle boats as they travel, retain waves from swimmers' splashes. To be a lake and experience salons to the fullest extent. I am a glass and although open to various liquids, I am limited in so many ways. Will I let love in?
