About the Event

We  invite you to join J.J. Wright, Director of the University of Notre Dame Folk Choir and Meg Castellini, retreat facilitator, for a Lenten retreat. Journey with us as we contemplate the interconnectedness of our stories through song and music. J.J. will guide us through a powerful experience of the life and love of Jesus through the meditative music of "The Passion" written and performed by the University of Notre Dame Folk Choir.

The afternoon retreat will be followed by dinner and the Hesburgh Lecture. Dr. Wright will lead a fireside chat based on “The Passion”, an all-new, 95-minute musical setting of Jesus’ Passion recorded live at the Jerusalem Music Centre at the end of the Holy Land Pilgrimage, The piece was written by the University of Notre Dame Folk Choir and produced by three-time Grammy award winner Joe Henry.

RSVP by Thursday, March 16th. A $10 donation for dinner would be appreciated; excess proceeds to benefit Brady Market Community Support and Services. Cash and checks made payable to Notre Dame Club of CNY will be accepted at the door.
