Welcoming The Unexpected

Life is comprised of both expected and unexpected events. In fact, sometimes the unexpected outcomes are simply the result of our unfulfilled expectations. Chances are, you recently endured an unexpected event or you’re in the midst of one right now.

Whether you were surprised by a relative’s unexpected visit, a promotion at work or caught off guard by illness or the sudden death of a loved one, adjustments were necessary.

I hope you’ll join me for one last retreat at Christ the King retreat house before the doors are closed. We will spend the day discerning God’s presence in our “unexpecteds” and explore ways to integrate a welcoming spirit into our experiences.
